What do I bring to class?
Bring yourself, water, a towel (a small microfiber or fitness towel works great) and anything else that helps you feel embodied. A pen and journal are always encouraged. Nontoxic, Manduka yoga mats, recycled cork blocks, and knee pads are provided at the studio for you.
What time should I arrive at class?
Doors will open 15 minutes before class starts. Your yoga mat and equipment will be set up for you, so when you walk in all you need to do is place your things in a cubby and find a mat! If you have a preference for a spot you would like to be in class (front, middle or back row) try to arrive early to claim your spot. Doors will lock 5 minutes after class starts.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that you cancel within 8 hours of your reserved class time. This gives others on the waitlist time to be notified that they have been let in to class and prepare to attend.
Where do I sign up for classes?
You can sign up, purchase class passes/packages and view the weekly schedule on the Mind Body website or app. When you visit Mind Body, search for "Embody" located in Carlisle, PA. If you have any issues signing up for class or purchasing a pass, please reach out at embody.vanessa@gmail.com
Will you teach a class for my special event?
Absolutely! Whether the class is for a birthday, University club, work group or other special event - I would love to move with you. Please reach out at embody.vanessa@gmail.com for a custom price and class plan.
Are you located in Platinum Fitness?
Yes! We are located at the back of Platinum Fitness in Carlisle, PA. Embody is a separate studio and entity than PF, however all Embody members are welcome to use the bathrooms and showers in the facilities. When you sign up for class, you will receive a barcode in the welcome email to scan at the front doors of PF in case the doors are locked. You will always be able to use this barcode for future classes. If the code changes, Vanessa will send out the new code via email for you to use.
